OUR GALLANT SOILDIERS

Boko Haram is the menace;

A threat to our country,

Our unity at stake,

Division is imminent.

Our Northern brothers in distress,

Running Helter skelter, leaving as a refugee

Looking for a Savior.

Our Savior the military,

Solidly trained to protect us,

Protect our integrity,

Rescue our country.

So came the military,

Fighting for our unity,

Facing a national threat,

Facing Boko Haram.

Our soldiers are zealous;

Zealous to fight and die;

Sacrifice for their homeland.

Corruption in the land;

Security vote on paper,

Our zealous soldiers dying;

Sophisticated weapons at large

Desire for country brought zeal,

Mutiny became the offence,

Death became the sentence.

Soldiersmorale, reduced,

Soldiers shattered.

How united can we be

To face this divisive force….

With love to our gallant soldiers

Whose lives was sacrificed for us

We pray for their liberation, as they

Fight for their homeland.
