GREED

For every man there is greed.

A time bomb in every heart,

A pathway to destruction.

Destruction of human life.

When it overshadowed the heart,

It kills the conscience,

Finds excuses for our deeds

No matter how bad, it is

Italways looks right.

It taints human ambitions,

Gives us illusions;

It deludes our path,

For our selfish ends.

Greed is part of human nature;

Cannot be killed, but suppressed

With wisdom and spiritual maturity

In God.

Many leaders have it,

So have ended in destruction.

Same are many citizens,

As they ended in prison.

Avoid greed my friend

As a peaceful life beacons

Don’t be greedy.
