SAMSON THE GREAT
BY: PETER OGUNSEYE
The life of Samson,
A story to tell,
A man of strength,
A great strength indeed.
Born with a prophesy,
Born with his rules,
Your seven locked hair,
A secret to keep.
Born to save the Israelites,
Philistines in trouble,
A messiah has come,
In the name of Samson.
Popular in Isreal,
Dreaded by the Philistines
As all enemies gathered,
To get hold of Samson.
Confidence overshadowed his heart;
So are his lustful eyes,
Isn’t this the beginning of the end?
Our gifted one.
So strong and powerful you are,
Yet with a tender heart,
With your tender heart
Your secret revealed.
Caught like a fish,
Disgraced like a slave
Yet, more died with you
Than when alive.
God never judged you;
As you have reconciled with him.
Though you died untimely;
Yet you remain great.
And with pride we narrate your story
SAMSON THE GREAT!!!!!!!!
