IT IS NEVER TOO LATE
On the cross were two thieves,
Two thieves crucified with Christ, to death.
They indeed have wronged the law
All put on the cross to death.
The moment of truth had come,
Death looms in their heads
No need to hide the truth;
As they speak their minds away.
“Are you truly Christ?” So said the first thief
“If so, save us from this cross.”
“How can you say that, ” says the second thief
“Since we are being punished for our sins”
Innocent Christ looks at them
He neither replied, nor answered
But simply gave the second thief
A chance to meet him in paradise.
From this story a lesson is learned,
Always a chance to change my ways.
Even in death, lies a window
Window to change my ways.
It is never too late to change your ways,
Only allow your conscience to mend your ways.
Soften your heart, to your mended ways;
The road to paradise stays your way.
