JUDAS

Jesus had twelve disciples,

He made them his apostles,

Trusted them for his gospels,

To path the saints to heaven.

Judas thought otherwise

The treasurer hungers for profit

As he negotiated with the Pharisees

For Jesus to be crucified.

12 shekels of silver the bargain,

For the life of our Redeemer,

Though, spiritually ordained,

His death redeems our souls.

Woe unto the man

Who from his deed

Betrayed Christ Jesus

To be crucified and redeem our souls

Judas was remorse,

The forgiveness he seeks not;

12 shekels of silver he returned

The path he walked not.

The deed had been done,

Jesus was crucified,

Judas betrayed Jesus,

Forever it shall be.
