This Popular Real Madrid Defender Wants To play for The Super Eagles

Real Madrid defender Derik Osede has revealed his wishes for playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Derik Osede is born to a Nigerian father and a Spanish mother in Spain and has represented the European country at the youth level.

But the 22-year-old defender who plays for Real Madrid B team Castilla said playing for Nigeria will be an honour.

“Playing for Nigeria my father’s country- at senior level will be a great honour,” the central defender has been quoted by the Spanish media to say in an interview.

Derik appeared with the Spanish under-19 team at the 2012 UEFA European Championship, helping to a final win in Estonia.
