In this sinful world;

Hatred, death and darkness,

Unto you I give my soul,

Against all corruptible seeds.

My innocence at birth,

Show the holiness of your kingdom,

For in my heart lies no hatred,

Only in you I give my trust.

Enemies abound to corrupt me,

The shadow of darkness surrounds me,

But with the light in your word,

Lies my guidance to your kingdom.

I know not what the future hold,

But your word foretold my future,

In your word, I put my trust,

Your word, the living spring of life.

I shall trust and obey your word,

For on it my spirit is watered,

Growing to know more about you,

Till I am worthy of your kingdom
