THE FAITH OF SHADRACH

The faith of Shadrach,

A lesson for many,

Unwavering faith of men,

In the God if Isaac.

He defied the king,

His orders disobeyed,

Regardless of the consequences

The mortal punishment of the king.

No assurance of their safety,

No pledge of their deliverance;

Their trust eternal in the living God,

Solely on him without reserve.

In God He trust,

Living or dead, Unto Him, He gave all,

His soul eternal.

What a living faith abound,

A great hope of faith,

To give God without reserve,

Trust Him without measure.
