I AM NAKED (PART TWO)

Adam was naked,

So was Eve,

A fig leave was sewn,

To cover their nakedness.

Yet, they remain naked,

For the guilt in their hearts

Disobey his instructions;

Nakedness the consequence.

Yet, with his love for us,

To us he gave Jesus.

Even though we disobey;

His blood on the cross,

A cover for our guilt

Can we live in sin

And the grace to abound?

All, are naked,

Our forefathers are,

But with the coming of Christ,

The fig leave is sewn

And we are free of guilt.
