THE FIRST BORN OF THE DEAD

Christ the first among the dead,

The last Adam to come,

A quickening life of God,

Born in Bethlehem.

His coming a grace to all men,

For those who trust in Him,

A gain of eternity.

Our rescue from the first Adam;

A living soul;

Created in the garden of Eden,

With no regard to God's instructions.

The grace for our sins,

Our wage from the bondage of satan,

Your resurrection our eternity.

The door of grace eternally,

Our rescue ship from sin;

To reclaim our place with God

And rise with the first born among the dead.
