OH! God of Jabez
Loudly I cry onto you,
Holy God of Isreal,
In pain I look into thy eyes,
My everlasting king.
The life of Jabez,
A life of sorrow and pain,
In sorrow he cried onto you,
In your mercy you heard him.
On my knees, my head bowed,
With a burdened heart I seek you,
To expand my territory and
Bless me abundantly.
Let your arm be with me,
Protect me from harm;
For I shall forever be free
From pain.
In your shadow I plead to stay,
In this world of pain.
For you are the God of Jabez,
The holy God of Isreal
Oh! God of Jabez,
In your eagle arm,
I wrapped myself,
To forever be free from
This world of sorrow.
