WHEN MAN ATE THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT
When man ate the forbidden fruit,
Man begins to die,
Fear of death in Everyman,
The realness of their helplessness.
When man ate the forbidden fruit,
Civilization came to mankind,
Civilization a mirage of men
Man, the greatest invention of God.
Every man’s civilization
Is the potential of what we can do,
Before we ate the food,
To the dismay of man.
When man ate the forbidden fruit,
Man invincibility became visible,
A quickening soul
Becomes a mere mortal.
When man ate the forbidden fruit,
This was simply a devil’s ploy
To weaken the strength of man;
A means to hurt God.
Even though man ate the fruit,
Though we disobeyed God,
A pure understanding of his word,
Will take us to his expected end.
