ELDERS OF THE LAND PART 2

Whatever you do today,

Lies the consequences in future,

No deed go unnoticed,

All deeds are rewarded

Thus, the elders hear always,

In their youthful age, they hear,

In their old age, they understand,

The wages of their sins.

The wise ones will see,

How their sins regenerated,

Warning their wards the consequences,

Consequences of their actions.

They gnash their teeth in pain,

When their wards defy them,

Their hearts in turmoil,

Another downfall for a generation?

In silence they suffer,

The remedy they seek,

How far can they go

Depends on the grace they have

But the word of God remains

“Train your child the way they

Should go, and when they grow up

Will not depart from it”
