THE TEARS OF JUSTICE

Justice is blind,
He knows no one,
In his temple, he stays calm
Listening to their grievances.
He listens to her inner mind,
As the ministers of the temple-
Jostle with laws in their favour,
As they seek the support of justice.
Justice is blind,
Yet so quick with his hand
Whenever he is ready for justice;
Whenever he is convinced to judge
But Justice is blind,
So corrupt are his ministers
They curtail this arm of justice
With various excuses of rules
Then justice is delayed,
Then justice is denied,
Making justice, so incompetent
In the eye of the common man
Even the common man knows not
That whenever justice is denied,
In his shrine she cried bitterly
Though she cannot see
Tears drop profusely from her eyes.
