PAIN OF THE MASSES

Their forefathers made a contract,
A social contract, in good faith
To protect their being
Their co - existence in the world
They gave their rights to government,
Government to protect these rights;
Gave them security and the basic needs of life.
For a prosperous life
They seek no power, nor fame
But a descent life to live
For generations to come they hope
Waiting for the fruition of their deeds
Years roll by, they wait,
Months roll on they believe,
The impatience of men grows daily
As they Seek for justice
As Factionsbegins to grow
They trust no one;
Their destiny in their hands
Better life they seek but
Anarchy they make
They are never meant to rule
Those meant to rule have failed
Christ my cornerstone
Onto you I trust for life.
