THE WHITE KNIGHT IS INJURED, LET’S PRAY FOR FRANCE
All over the globe, the contribution of France against terrorism cannot be over emphasised. France is the only nation that has made an undaunted stand against terrorism all over the world in General and African nations in particular. In Mali, the Al Shabaab had almost rendered the Malian government ineffective and demoralized before the interference of France who pushed the terrorist back into the heaps for the Malians to heave a sigh of relief using their commandos on the primer coat and air support to take on the threat. The Boko Haram crisis in Nigeria took the intervention of France to organize the neighbours like Chad, Cameroun and Niger to tackle the Boko Haram crisis by preventing them from getting in their borders and capturing them if need be from performing their dastardly deed. France has on many occasions reiterated his stand against terrorism without any political undertone whatsoever.
In Africa, France is our White Knight, who has indeed expressed their disgust against terrorism all over the globe especially in Africa. Due to their stand against terrorism, they indeed have had their fair share of attacks by the terrorist the most recent that come to mind is the November 13 attack at the Stade de France stadium and some parts of France where about 129 were confirmed dead and many injured. In spite of this, France remained undeterred in their battle against terrorism, even though there was a threat from ISIS saying that France will not have peace unless they stop their fight against them. Even before the attack on France on the faithful night France sent his battleship to Syria with the intention to battle ISIS.
The fight is on between ISIS and Europe. In all European states, France has indicated more concern about Africa when it comes to terrorist act than most European nations. For now they are undeterred in their resolution against terrorism and are quick to bring the fight to the terrorist. For how long can they do this? For how long will the battle last? We can just implore that no matter how long the interest of Africa should be in the heart of France for the protection of Africa.
Africa has remained undeveloped for many years due to corruption, internal conflict and greed of our leaders. The problem of the 19th century, which is the analog years remained unsolved in Africa till we record the digital age. The challenge of terrorism in this century can only be resolved if the crisis of the 19thcentury is checked and resolved. How fast can this be achieved in Africa without the help of Europe? Europe on its own have their own flaws which they cannot fully rectify in the analog years, which indeed require to be amended and perfected, for example their moral values which I think led to the crisis
