Why Kill Jesus ?

From his birth

His future was prophesied.

Prophesied to be the king,

The king of Jews.

The earthly king was envious,

His envy became devious,

Infants were killed and maimed

For the prophesy of the child.

He never had a party,

Never went into politics,

He never promised worldly things;

Simply the kingdom of heaven.

From his birth, is offense was treason

Treason for no reason;

An infant who knew nothing.

His father was a carpenter,

Born in Bethlehem;

Bethlehem in the manger.

He was not like his forerunner,

Who accuses the king,

Criticizes its government;

Beheaded by the king.

He gave unto Cesar what is cesar;

God what is God,

Yet they never relent,

Relent in his crucifixion

He performed many miracles,

Miracles beyond measure,

Never seen as an oracle,

An oracle of God.

Why kill Jesus?

Why seek the death of an infant?

Why seek the death of the son of a carpenter?

Why kill a miracle worker?

His death was for the remission of our sins,

Redemption of our sins,

Protection from satan,

Leading us to the heavenly king.

This, the devil desire Not,

Wanted our souls in his grip;

With the crucifixion of Christ;

IT HAS FINISHED.
