THE DANCE OF DAVID
David danced for God,
With a heart of Joy and praise,
He danced with all his might,
Cared less of what people say.
His dance, a dismay of many,
His dance a pathway to God,
He danced profusely,
With a heart of gratitude.
David’s dance a lesson to many,
Dancing, a special way to please God,
So many ways to please God,
However, dancing, a special way.
His dances obliterating his dignity,
His dignity as a king
Cared less for his status,
What a humble way to act,
David’s dance, a sign of humility
With all his might, he danced for God,
Creating a pathway to God's heart,
A man after God's heart indeed.
