THE DECEIVED; THE DECEIVER
When we are deceived,
And acted on this deceit,
We feel foolish when we know
It was a deceit.
Sometimes we sense this deceit,
Yet, we go ahead, since it is
Our heart’s desire, all caution is,
Thrown into the wind,
God can make the wise foolish,
And the foolish wise,
No wonder he makes a Lamb
To rescue the souls of men.
Serpent deceives EVE,
Gave Adam the forbidden fruits,
Both blame the serpent,
For achieving their hearts desire?
Has the deceived really been deceived?
Were they really deceived?
Seems the deceiver only,
Aid the deceived to fufil,
Their hearts desire.
They ate the forbidden fruit,
Knew they were naked,
Oh!! They felt foolish,
They became the deceived?
