NARROW IS THE GATE
We are born of the flesh,
We came from the spirit,
Being in the spirit, staying in the flesh,
A great feat indeed.
In this world of ours,
So are vain things
Also are two great masters
Who clamour for our souls
One uses our weaknesses in the flesh,
The other asked us to live in the spirit,
Impatience, greed. Human sacrifices-
Godliness, patience and contentment
Their fruits of the spirit.
Our flesh gravitates us to the first master,
Whose gate is wide and smooth
To follow the second master in the spirit,
We need to trust and love him.
We were once caged by the first master;
Our sins paid for by the second master,
Yet, he never forced his power over us,
But to love him and come into his kingdom.
His heart bleed as he sees us
Moving towards the wide gate
Of destruction. Even though his gate
Is narrow he is full of love and peace.
