WASH MY SINS AWAY?
Our sins have made us short,
Short of the glory of God.
Our conscience has condemned us,
For our deed against God’s will.
So came the birth of a boy
Born in Bethlehem,
In the manger; his father a carpenter;
Called the king of the Jews.
He evangelise the word of God,
Performed miracles,
Forgive the sins of many,
Asked them to sin no more.
He died for the sins of many,
By his crucifixion on the cross,
His death washes our sins away,
On the cross of calvary.
His death for you,
His death for me,
Must never be a doubt,
Lest a waste it shall be
With your faith in his deed,
Your sins are wiped clean
Giving us a new beginning
To our eternal glory.
